Once Again on Aristotle and the Identity of the Athenian Nomothetai. A Response to Gertrud Dietze-Mager

This article is a short response to recent contribution by Dietze-Mager in Erga-Logoi 10.2. There, within larger discussion of the reliability Aristotelian Athenaion Politeia as historical source, argues against our proposed identification Athenian nomothetai with special session Assembly. In response, we start concise summary interpretation constitutional stages light socio-economic methodology Politics IV, and clarify role Aristotle’s political theory reconstruction.
